01
The Opponent is a Mirror
The other person is not an enemy to be defeated; they are a mirror reflecting your own egoic attachments. When an argument triggers anger or defensiveness, look at what in you is being threatened. You may disagree with the reflection, but you may not break the mirror.
02
Belief is Scaffolding, Not Identity
Every ideology, political stance, and opinion you hold is borrowed scaffolding, not who you actually are. You must argue the claim, not the person. Treating a political position as your permanent identity is ego-fattening. Attack the scaffolding, but never attack the essential being underneath it.
03
Truth is the Removal of the False
Truth here is not defined as winning the argument or possessing the correct facts; it is defined as moving away from your own fundamental lie. If an opponent exposes a flaw, distortion, or falsehood in your reasoning, dropping your false premise is the highest victory. Clinging to a dismantled argument is self-preservation; dropping it is ego-thinning.
04
Argue from I-Am-Ness, Not for the Fruit
Engage in discourse to express the truth as you see it, not to extract a result. If your primary motivation is to humiliate the other, seek validation, win points, or enlarge your own self-image, your engine is ego-driven. Speak honestly, and let the action end at itself.
05
The Intellect Serves Truth, Not the Ego
The intellect is an innocent machine. Commandeered by the ego, it becomes an advocate generating post-hoc rationalisations for what you have already decided you want to believe. You must not use high intelligence or complex vocabulary merely to build sophisticated prisons or evade honest seeing.
06
Compassion Over Mercy
Mercy validates the other person's ego to make them feel better; compassion sees through their false scaffolding and challenges it directly to address the root. We do not coddle egos here. However, this must never cross into cruelty or dogpiling. Crowds feed the ego's fear. Engage directly, ruthlessly, but with the intent to clarify, not destroy.
07
Your Intent is Sovereign
The absolute rule of this platform is intent. If you are in a strategic freeze, arguing in bad faith, deliberately trolling to preserve your own biases, or refusing to look honestly at evidence, you will be removed. If your intent is genuine self-dissolution and the pursuit of what is real, you are welcome, no matter how fiercely you disagree.
08
Examine the Examiner
You cannot demand ruthless evidence from your opponent while treating your own baseline assumptions as self-evident. The ego loves to dismantle external ideologies while refusing to investigate the I doing the dismantling. Before you critique an opponent's blind spots, you must examine your own investment. Ask yourself: why does my ego need this specific claim to be true?
09
Close the Ledger
Do not carry the resentment, hurt, or score of past debates into the present thread. The ego maintains a running ledger of who was wrong, who insulted whom, and what compensation is owed. Arguing to settle an old score or prove a past point is a strategic freeze. Enter every new discussion with freshness; drop the historical grievance and engage only with what is in front of you.
10
Do Not Weaponise the Story
Personal narratives are often the ego's curated autobiography of its own importance. While lived experience is valid, you must not use my story or my trauma as an impenetrable shield to shut down logical inquiry or demand submission from an opponent. Appropriating a wound to win an argument is ego-fattening. State the facts, but do not hide behind a self-serving narrative.
11
The Steel-Man Prerequisite
Before you are permitted to strike, you must first summarise the opposing argument in its strongest, most logically coherent form. If the original author would not recognise their own view in your summary, the reply is rejected. When the original claim is genuinely ambiguous or incomplete, you may issue one brief clarifying question first. Only after that clarification, or after the opponent declines to clarify, does the steel-man requirement activate.

12
Strict Evidence Bifurcation
A confident claim presented as settled fact without backing is an egoic projection. Divide every argument explicitly: state what is verifiable data and supply the exact citation or primary source link, and state separately what is hypothesis, inference, pattern recognition, or provisional judgement, labelled as such. Uncited assertions delivered with the tone of absolute fact are flagged. Provisional language is permitted when clearly marked; the violation is laundering opinion into the appearance of established reality.

13
Definitive Exit Conditions
Endless circular debate is the ego's refusal to yield. Early in the thread you must state the strongest type of evidence that would significantly lower or falsify your position. When that evidence, or clear partial counter-evidence, appears, the debate ends with a clean update or concession. Publicly reducing confidence or abandoning a claim is not defeat; it is the highest victory over the ego's self-preservation drive. Disputes over whether the evidence meets the pre-stated standard are resolved by returning to the original falsification criteria, not by reopening the entire contest.
